New Years at the Cabin

We spent the New Year's portion of the Holiday with the Holyoak's up at the Cabin. We relaxed, snowmobiled and played lots of games. I didn't take any pictures except these with Kate and her Great Grandma Roberts and Great Grandpa Roberts. They were reading to her and she was LOVING it! Kate is their first Great Grandchild.

Christmas 2009

This year for Christmas we Spent it up in Idaho Falls with the Schanz Family. Adam's Family does a big Christmas Eve dinner and then a White Elephant Exchange, so we did that in which I don't have any pictures of. Christmas morning, I have to admit, I was using the video recorder more than taking pictures so... I don't have as many pictures as I'd like. Next year Adam is going to have to do one, and I'll do the other! Christmas morning was a little crazy now that there are lots of kids all very young and close in age. All the kids wanted the toys that the other kids would open! Santa was good to our little family this year. Kate's favorite presents have probably been her very own leather chair, and a baby and baby stroller. Mine was probably my new Canon 50d!! Adam's was probably his new snow blower to keep up with the never ending snow in the winter months! Last year we would just drive over the snow and hope for some sunny days to melt the snow...but it is really embarrassing when all the neighbors driveways are nice and clear!

Our Christmas Tree this year!
Kate and her wonderful cousin, Lily.

David and Amber lived with us last year for a period of time, and Kate loves her Uncle David Simpson!
Brook and Amber Christmas Morning.

Kate got some new shoes from the twins! She is lovin' shoes lately. She will come over to me in the kitchen while I am cleaning up and demand I take off my shoes so she can walk around in them! So she was excited for some new shoes to prance around in!

Family Pictures

Early November, we had our Family pictures done so that we could send out Christmas cards this year. We had to do two photo shoots because in the first one, Kate was not a happy camper at all. I tried to leave my pregnant belly out of as many pictures as I could :) Here are some of the favorites...

32 WEEKS

So, this picture was taken two weeks ago and so I was 32 weeks at the time, I am just now getting around to posting pictures from Christmas time!!! I am getting very uncomfortable and ready to be done. My acid Reflex is more than I can handle right now!

Kate's Trip to Visit Ty!

Last Week, Adam had to go to Florida for work. One of my bestest friends, Megan had a baby five days before me and I still had not seen her adorable little boy. So, Kate and I decided to drive up to Boise and see her while Adam was gone. I was a little nervous to drive 5 hours with Kate in the car by myself, but she was a champ!!! She slept 3-4 hours both ways only leaving 2 hours at the most for her to watch 101 dalmations or Pooh, which happen to be her two FAVORITE movies!! We are so glad that we did!! We had a lot of fun. We did some shopping, and lots of eating and Ty and Kate played lots. Thanks Megan for begin such a great host! We promise it won't be another 18 months before we see you!!! :)

Ty absolutely loved driving the car at the grocery store. It wasn't enough for him to just drive using his steering wheel!! He wanted BOTH!!

Kate found these ponies and mopped the store floors with them! It made me laugh so hard watching her drag them all around.

She was very excited about the ponies!

The last couple of weeks I have totally been craving Oreo shakes. Megan was kind enough to make us some shakes to satisfy my craving! Kate and Ty liked helping. Kate liked eating all the creams out of the oreos. How does an 19 month year old know that is the good part???

Ty and Kate playing their FAVORITE Game!! (you'll see their game in the next couple of pictures!!) Ty is the one that showed Kate the ropes and introduced her to this great game! They loved climbing up on the back of Megan's couch and then falling back into the pillows. Kate loved it until Ty would decide he wanted to wrestle instead. Kate didn't appreciate it all that much!! :) Ps. I LOVE cute little Ty's smile in this picture. He is such a cute little boy with an adorable personality!

Silverline Cruise

My little Princess is 18 Months old now, and for her 2nd Halloween she was a cheetah. This year she didn't go trick-or-treating though which I didn't mind because she doesn't need the candy nor does she REALLY understand it. Over Halloween we were on a cruise with Adam's company. The cruise left out of San Diego and went down to Cabo San Lucas and back. We had a blast, and would love to return to Cabo for a little longer stay!

The Children's pool on the ship was shallow enough that Kate could run around in it, and thought it was a lot of fun.
Daddy and Kate in the ocean in Cabo at Lover's Beach. We spent that day there snorkling and swimming, and then went back and did some shopping!

Natasha and I on the boat getting a little tour on our way to Lover's Beach.

Here are some of the fish we were snorkling with. This picture is through our glass bottom boat on our way to the beach. We were given Corn Tortillas to feed the fish while snorkling and they fish would go crazy and swim all over you! There was one fish that had three white spikes on the back of its body and I was scared that they were going to cut me!

Beautiful Cabo. We had perfect weather while we were there!
